The N.C. Folk Festival would like to thank Blue Cross BlueShield of North Carolina for their support. With their contributions, we’re able to celebrate America’s roots and heritage through live music, dance, and art in downtown Greensboro, Friday, Sept. 7th to Sunday, Sept. 9th. Take a musical trip around the world without leaving North Carolina!

“Folk music is an expression of the rich history and culture in our state,” said Cheryl Parquet, director of community and diversity engagement at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. “The North Carolina Folk Festival is an opportunity for North Carolina to host people from around the country so they can gather and enjoy music traditions that have been passed down for generations in our own communities.”

The festival kicks off on the Blue Cross Blue Sheild NC CityStage at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, September 7th.

We’d also like to thank City of GreensboroNews & RecordLincoln Financial Group and UNC-TV for their support in the 2018 #NCFolkFest.
