North Carolina Folk Festival organizers announced that more than 30 food providers will offer a wide array of culinary delights on site as part of the 2018 North Carolina Folk Festival. The three-day celebration of America’s roots and heritage takes place in downtown Greensboro, September 7 – 9.

Admission-free and family-friendly, the Festival is one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing festival, drawing more than 160,000 attendees over three days.

The Festival will feature a remarkable variety of regional and ethnic foods – from barbeque and porterhouse burgers – to Asian and Hispanic fare, as well as classic southern festival favorites like sweet tea, kettle and roasted corn, turkey BBQ, and ice cream – all to please every palate. The wide array of food complements the diverse list of world-class performers and styles to be showcased across six outdoor stages – from bluegrass and zydeco – to classic country, New Orleans’ funk, jazz, blues, Latino, Celtic and music from across many other world cultures. While a majority of regionally-based food vendors helps support the local food economy, vendors represent other N.C. communities and traditions as well. A complete list of vendors is available at ncfolkfestival.com/food.
