Thank you for your interest in food vending opportunities at the annual North Carolina Folk Festival!
Based on reports and data from federal, state, and local officials, we are hopeful and optimistic that we will be able to proceed with an in-person festival the weekend of September 10-12, 2021. We recognize that food vendors are anxious to plan their Fall calendars, just as we are eager to finalize the scale and scope of our 2021 event – including how food vendors can be integrated into the 2021 festival experience.
Assuming local and state ordinances will allow a large festival-style gathering in downtown Greensboro, we will implement a food vendor selection process for the 2021 NCFF as follows:
- Application eligibility is limited to ONLY those food vendors who successfully submitted an application last year for the 2020 Festival. If you successfully submitted an application in 2020, you are automatically under consideration for a food vendor spot at the 2021 NC Folk Festival; no need to submit additional information. During this transition and recovery period for the events and hospitality industries, we feel strongly about supporting the food vendors who began our application last year but, through no fault of their own (or ours), were not able to complete the jury/evaluation process. We have chosen to prioritize these vendors over any new applicants in 2021.
- If you were not an applicant in 2020, you may enter your contact information and we will contact you by email when the application process for our 2022 event opens. We anticipate that process will open around January 2022.
